LOCATION AND SERVICES
Made of Dust Studio is situated in the heart of Belgrade, in the vibrant area known as Vukov Spomenik, close to major universities, shopping districts, and popular dining spots. Nestled on the ground floor of a residential building, our studio is where we craft and showcase our ceramics.
Our studio is dusty, cozy, smoke-free and pet friendly space. Here, you can explore our products in person before making a purchase, and also collect your ceramics or gift vouchers if you’ve chosen the “studio pick-up” option during checkout.
If you’re interested in one of our ceramic courses listed below, you’re welcome to drop by during our working hours, meet the maker, and experience our creative process and studio atmosphere before committing to a course.
While we currently don’t hold ceramic workshops, we’ll soon be offering one themed workshop per month. Keep following our Instagram page for updates and announcements.
POTTERY CLASSES
We currently offer 2 types of lessons:

Handbuilding course – every Saturday, 12 PM–3 PM (monthly package: 18,000 RSD)

Wheel-throwing course – every Saturday, 4 PM–7 PM (monthly package: 22,000 RSD)
Each course runs monthly and includes 4 classes, each lasting 3 hours. Courses can be extended indefinitely — they continue for as long as you wish to learn and create.
We teach in an intimate atmosphere and small groups — up to 3 people in handbuilding and 2 attendees on pottery wheels, learning separately. Spots are currently available for both courses.
All tools, materials, and kiln firing of finished pieces are provided. Everything you make is yours to take home. The price also includes coffee, tea, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Aprons and protective masks are provided as well.
Jelena, a self-taught maker with 6 years of experience in daily ceramics production, will guide you through the process, share useful online resources, and inspire you with her story of leaving the corporate world to build her own brand and creative practice in 2020.

Day at our studio
Our day typically begins with initial preparations for our creative process. This may involve organizing and adjusting items on our work shelf, recycling clay, wedging, or occasionally handling packing and shopping tasks. During this first half of the day, I find myself eagerly bustling around the studio, growing increasingly excited for the main part of our creative session, when everything is arranged and ready for production. I relish the opportunity to detach from external distractions, immersing myself in the ambiance with music or a podcast, and delving into deep, uninterrupted work that lasts for hours. It's this focused dedication that brings each productive day to a satisfying close.

Our studio, a tad messy and clay-covered, but bursting with creativity! Our customers love the quirky charm of our artsy chaos as much as we do. They can peek behind the scenes, watching our products come to life from clay blobs to finished wonders. And of course, they get to pick and purchase their favorites, adding a splash of whimsy to their day!
