Sand Collection
Sand collection of unique handmade ceramics is defined by graceful, curvy, shapes and timeless aesthetics. Each piece is made purely by hand, on a potter’s wheel, or in some cases using hand-building techniques.
Inspiration for this collection is founded in the idea that there is only as much as we can and should change in our living world as humans. By intervening in a careful and minimal way while designing objects and by respecting it’s laws and aesthetics, we let the nature flourish in it’s raw beauty and allow it to play the main role in the shaping of things.
In the production of the Sand series we use a few clay bodies in different ratios and let them create the most wonderful organic streaks by blending on a potter’s wheel. In a way, pots are decorating themselves during the process of becoming. No additional decorative technique or human interference is involved, except for the application of smooth satin matte glaze. This transparent finish reveals, in a very unique way, the natural beauty and texture of clay within each piece. Furthermore, it makes ceramics smooth to the touch and ensures easy washing and maintenance.
Made of Dust ceramics are produced in small batches, one piece at a time.
Due to this process, there may be minor distinctions in size, shape or color within one batch, which makes them truly special and one of a kind.

In the production of the Speckled White series we use speckled cream clay, discretely revealing it’s natural beauty and texture. The playful composition of dark speckles emerges through satin matte white glaze - seemingly random in composition, but perfectly balanced in their organic character.
